Contaminated Land Management Specialist
We're seeking a Contaminated Land Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our environmental services group, you will be responsible for conducting environmental field works, collecting and analyzing data, and developing conceptual site models.
Job Description: The successful candidate will have 3-7 years of experience in contaminated land management, with a strong background in soil contaminants, site sampling techniques, investigation methodologies, and remediation technologies for groundwater, soil, and gas.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct environmental field works, including drilling, hydrogeological testing, site validation, and monitoring.
* Collect and analyze environmental samples, including soil, groundwater, soil vapour, ambient air, and landfill gas.
* Develop conceptual site models and prepare detailed and concise field notes.
* Author technical assessments reports and recommendations.
* Oversee contractors and take responsibility for safe, compliant, and quality field works programs.
* Apply legislation, standards, guidelines, and project specifications.
Requirements:
* Relevant tertiary education in earth sciences or environmental science/engineering.
* Current full Australian Driver's License.
* Project management skills.
* Collaborative and team-oriented approach to undertaking projects.
