About The Role
We're seeking skilled Neuropsychologists to join CARED as independent contractors.
You'll have clinical skills across a range of areas, including NDIS and support a diverse caseload, including:
* Functional Behaviour Assessments & comprehensive reports,
* Development and implementation of Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs)
* Ongoing therapeutic intervention and capacity-building strategies
* Participants with complex behaviours of concern
* Adults with psychosocial disabilities requiring positive behaviour support
* Participants with intellectual and physical disabilities impacting daily living and social participation
* Collaboration with families, support workers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure best outcomes
About You
We're seeking skilled Neuropsychologists to join CARED as independent contractors.
You'll have clinical skills across a range of areas, including NDIS, and support a diverse caseload, including:
* Neuropsychological Assessments: Administer and interpret standardized cognitive tests (e.g., WAIS-IV, WMS-IV, D-KEFS).
* Assess memory, attention, executive function, language and visuospatial skills
* Diagnostic Skills: Identify acquired brain injuries (ABI), neurodevelopmental disorders, dementia and mental health comorbidities
* Functional Impact Analysis: Translate cognitive deficits into real-world functional limitations relevant to NDIS goals
* Therapeutic Skills
* Cognitive Rehabilitation: Develop strategies for memory, attention and executive functioning
* Behavioural Interventions: Manage emotional regulation, impulsivity and social cognition issues
* Psychoeducation: Educate participants, families and support workers about cognitive strengths and weaknesses
