Exciting new opportuntiy for a Supervisor to join our Transport division working on a major road joint venture
About the Role
ConnectSydney, a dynamic joint venture between Service Stream, Boral and Johnson Controls, will be delivering the Sydney Road Assets Performance Contract for the Harbour Zone in metropolitan Sydney. We are looking for talented, motivated and driven individuals to join the team who will be committed to delivering innovative, customer-focused and sustainable outcomes whilst also establishing a positive legacy for our customers and community.
The Supervisor contributes to the project through the management of sub-contractor and internal teams, providing leadership by safely managing performance of people, work programs, and/or processes. This includes primary responsibility for definition, planning, execution and closing activities necessary to successfully deliver works for the project safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in formal and contractual meetings with the client and other relevant parties
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders
- Coordinate all activities across the contract, including scheduling and programming of works
- Responsible for ensuring that everyone that undertakes work on the contract has the correct training and has valid licences.
- Support the contract management system to ensure all maintenance or project activities are completed
- Ensure all KPI's and contract performance requirements are met
- Conduct tool box meetings, communicate policies, procedures and practices to work teams
- Assist in the management of maintenance and construction projects in accordance with standards and Risk Management Process.
- Ensure all technical, program, quality, environmental, community, industrial, safety and commercial obligations are achieved and maintained on site.
- Ensure all required management systems documentation adherence
- Ensure that the whole life cycle costs for all assets are collated and inputted into JAMs.
- Promote open and transparent communication as appropriate to encourage understanding of all stakeholder requirements and drivers.
About You
- Demonstrated experience in a Roads Infrastructure environment
- Prior experience in managing people and/or multiple stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in construction or services industry and safety management in a major subcontractor management role
- Current driver's license
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite (Word/ Excel/ Outlook)
- Knowledge of asset management and asset management systems an advantage
- Preference for a recognised tertiary qualification (Engineering or Construction Management), or a high level of demonstrated relevant experience
