Boarding Assistant (males only)
Townsville Grammar School seeks to employ Boarding Assistants to join the dynamic boarding team starting July 2026.
Responsibilities
* Supervise during boarding routines.
* Provide academic assistance during study sessions.
* Provide transport using a school vehicle.
* Coordinate small outings with allocated pastoral groups.
* Commit to approximately 16 hours per week, averaged over the semester roster.
Position Types and Remuneration
* Live-in Campus – salary, accommodation, term-time meals, private air‐conditioned room and shared common spaces.
* Live-out – hourly casual rate basis.
Qualifications and Requirements
Must be male. Minimum of a university student or early career teacher experience. A Working with Children Blue Card is mandatory. Acceptable child‐safety screening. Demonstrates ability to create a friendly and nurturing environment and take ownership and responsibility for the welfare and safety of others.

Full position; live-in or live-out as per above.
