The Role
You will play a pivotal part in providing top-tier patient care and supporting a variety of diagnostic and interventional services.
You will assist radiologists with procedures like deep organ biopsies, lumbar punctures, PICC insertions, drainages, and pain management injections, using your skills and expertise to make a real difference in people's lives.
You will work closely with medical imaging staff to streamline workflow and elevate the patient experience, ensuring that every interaction is positive and supportive.
You will engage with hospital departments and allied health professionals, building strong relationships and working together towards common goals.
You will be responsible for managing IV cannulation, PICC/Port device access, and other key tasks, using your knowledge and experience to deliver high-quality results.
Requirements:
* Experience: Ideally in nursing, particularly in an acute or theatre/recovery setting.
* Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to manage time effectively and adapt to changing priorities.
* Cannulation Skills: Highly regarded, with prior radiology experience an advantage (though full training will be provided to the right candidate).
