Disability Support Worker – Casual
Location: Taree, NSW
We are currently seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team on a casual basis to support a client requiring physical support. Due to increased demand, we are looking for reliable all-rounders who can assist across a variety of shifts and support needs.
The participant has expressed a preference for support workers who are familiar with Western culture, lifestyle, and communication style, to ensure rapport, comfort, and effective support delivery.
About the Role
You will be providing person-centred support including:
* Bowel care
* Personal care
* Spinal / physical care
* Meal preparation
* Supporting daily routines and independence
About You
* Experience in disability support
* Confident, calm, and adaptable in different support environments
* Strong communication and rapport-building skills
* Clear, fluent English communication
* Reliable and flexible availability to assist with shift coverage
* Passion for supporting people to live independently and safely

Pay Rates
SCHADS Award E3.1
Casual Rates (before tax):
* Base hourly rate: $35.15
* Afternoon shift (ends between 8pm and midnight, Mon–Fri): $38.67
* Active night shift (finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Mon–Fri): $39.37
* Saturday: $49.21
* Sunday: $63.27
* Public holiday: $77.33
