Key Responsibilities
* Antenatal, Intrapartum, and Postnatal Care: Deliver comprehensive care to patients in various stages of pregnancy and post-delivery, ensuring the best possible outcomes for mothers and babies.
* General Gynaecology and Perioperative Patients: Manage patients with general gynaecological conditions and those undergoing surgery under close supervision, providing expert care and support.
* Theatre Lists, Birthing Suite Management, Clinics, and Ward Rounds: Participate in theatre lists, manage the birthing suite, conduct clinics, and lead ward rounds, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery.
* After-Hours Coverage: Provide after-hours coverage once credentialed, ensuring that patients receive continuous care and attention outside regular hours.
* Junior Doctor Supervision and Medical Student Education: Assist in supervising junior doctors, contributing to their growth and development, and participate in medical student education, shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Requirements
* Eligibility: Be eligible for General Registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
* Clinical Experience: Have completed at least 6 months' clinical experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology as a Resident Medical Officer.
* Strong Clinical Communication Skills: Possess excellent clinical communication and teamwork skills, able to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
