**Operations Area Manager - Fulfillment Center**
We are seeking an experienced Operations Area Manager to lead and develop a team of Section Managers in one of the following areas: receive, stow, pick, pack, or ship at our Fulfillment Center in Lytton. Your primary focus will be on continuously improving delivery processes to ensure customer orders are delivered quickly, accurately, and cost-effectively.
In this role, you will work closely with your peers to ensure all workflows run smoothly and customer expectations are met. You will also be responsible for maintaining Health and Safety standards and promoting a culture of safety on-site.
The shift pattern for this role is based on 4 nights on and 3 nights off.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop a team of Operations Section Managers and their direct reports
* Maintain Health and Safety standards within your remit area and promote a safe working environment
* Develop performance goals and objectives to achieve customer promise expectations and ensure accuracy and quality
* Collaborate with support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to meet business objectives
* Partner with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards
* Review work forecasts and determine requirements to produce during the day to meet overall building objectives
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
* Working experience in Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field
* Experience as a manager, involving sizable teams, and ability to motivate others and build strong relationships
* Demonstrate ability in problem-solving and analytical capabilities, including conducting Dive Deep analysis on complex processes
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Direct management experience for employees and their performance
* Experience with performance metrics and process improvement
* Flexibility to work weekends and/or shifts regularly
* Experience in Microsoft Office applications, including MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or equivalent qualification
