About The Role
AGL's HSE team in Bayswater
have an opportunity for a
Graduate Advisor – Health & Safety.
Based at our Bayswater Power Station,
the successful person will be passionate about building a career in health and safety and will be both supported, nurtured and developed while experience exposure to all the critical areas of health and safety in high-risk industry and environments.

What You'll Be Doing
* Supporting the development, implementation and review of H&S Policy, systems and procedures including AGL contractor management framework.
* Supporting Projects in accordance with AGL HSE Project Governance Procedure and Contractor Management Framework
* Contributing to the development and implementation H&S initiatives and actions.
* Support the business as required with the delivery of HSE contractor forums for critical contracting engagements.
* Assisting the Manager with RFP/tender reviews.
* Monitoring H&S performance for projects and implement HS improvement programs or interventions to address performance or for continuous performance.
What You'll Bring To The Table
* Tertiary qualification in Work Health and Safety Environment or other related business discipline; Cert IV or above (preferred, but not essential)
* Enthusiasm to begin a career in health and safety
* Strong people and relationship skills
* Safety as a core value and an understanding of operational site safety requirements
* Demonstrated planning and organisational skills
* A team player who is excited by new and challenging environments
