The mixed farming operation spans over 6,000 acres, this is a hands-on role suited to someone with broadacre cropping experience and solid mechanical knowledge.ResponsibilitiesPlanting, harvesting, and ground preparation for cereal cropsOperation of all broadacre farming machinery, including spray rigsWork independently and as part of a team, collaborating directly with the property ownerConfident with GPS technologyContribute to daily farm operations and tasksDemonstrate strong mechanical skills and ensure proper machinery upkeepMaintain cleanliness and attention to detail in all aspects of workAttributes and QualificationsMinimum of 3 years experience in a similar roleMechanical aptitude and experience with machinery maintenanceFamiliarity with agriculture machinery, including self-propelled spray rigsSelf-motivated and proactiveExcellent communication skillsAbility to work independently and within a teamA clean and organised approach to workMC or HC LicenceThis role includes a 3-bedroom house, located within 1.5 hours of Albury, the property offers access to excellent amenities and vibrant community life.
