Job Title: Clinical Team Lead
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Team Lead to join our team in Burnie, Tasmania. This is a unique opportunity to lead a multidisciplinary team and make a real difference in the lives of individuals experiencing mental health distress.
The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, with experience in managing clinical governance, supervision and mentoring of staff, process development and monitoring, data capture and reporting to meet key contractual benchmarks.
Job Description:
The Clinical Team Lead will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and management to the site-based team members, ensuring all clinical governance and compliance targets are implemented and met. This includes working closely with the Clinical Services Manager and Operations Manager for Tasmania to support innovation and quality improvement for the region.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading the day-to-day delivery of excellence in quality care provision
* Coordinating care for people with complex needs, including consultation and engagement with a wide range of professionals
* Developing and implementing processes to improve clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction
* Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators
* Mentoring and supervising staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
* A mental health-related degree as a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Nurse, OR a Mental Health Social Worker, with eligibility for related registration
* Experience leading a multidisciplinary team or extensive experience as a Senior Clinician providing clinical support to a team
* Knowledge & understanding of the theory underpinning evidence-based interventions & clinical practice as well as demonstrated excellence in the practical application of such, in the areas of mental health and alcohol and drug use
* Highly developed communication skills and the ability to engage with consumers, advocate on their behalf and establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, clients, families & friends and stakeholders
