A Leadership Opportunity to Shape Aged Care Services

BRAMS is seeking a full-time Aged Care Clinical Nurse Manager based in Broome, Western Australia.

Reporting to the Community Services Executive Manager, this newly created leadership role provides clinical governance oversight and operational leadership across BRAMS aged care programs, including the Transition Care Programme (TCP), Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP), and Support at Home.

Working closely with nursing, allied health, and care management teams, you will ensure services are delivered safely, compliantly, and in alignment with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and the BRAMS Model of Care.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Providing clinical governance oversight for all consumers receiving aged care services across BRAMS programs
* Overseeing clinical assessments, care planning, reassessments, and high-risk care plan approvals
* Managing complex cases and ensuring appropriate escalation, multidisciplinary intervention, and risk mitigation
* Leading incident review, quality improvement initiatives, and compliance with aged care standards and legislation
* Supervising and supporting nursing staff including the Aged Care Clinical Lead, Registered Nurses, and Enrolled Nurses
* Facilitating multidisciplinary collaboration with allied health teams to deliver integrated and coordinated care
* Monitoring clinical indicators, documentation quality, and service delivery performance
* Preparing reports and performance data for executive leadership and governance committees
* Driving continuous improvement across aged care programs to support safe, culturally responsive care

Please Note: The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a current Influenza vaccination, National Police Check, Aged Care Worker Screening clearance, and a valid Australian Driver’s Licence before commencing in the role.

Are You the Clinical Leader We’re Looking For?

To qualify, you will need current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and significant years of experience in aged care, including demonstrated leadership or management responsibility.

Additionally, the following experience and skills will be highly regarded:

* Strong knowledge of the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, Support at Home, CHSP and TCP programs
* Experience overseeing complex clinical assessments and high-risk aged care consumers
* Demonstrated experience in clinical governance, risk management, and incident investigation
* Experience leading and supporting nursing teams, including Registered and Enrolled Nurses
* Experience working within multidisciplinary teams, including allied health professionals
* Experience working in community health or Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations
