$86,887 - $93,066 + up to 15.4% Superannuation Edinburgh - SA The RoleAs an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Officer within the High Frequency Sensing Systems Program Officer (HFSSPO), you will play a critical role in sustaining our world leading Jindalee Over the Horizon Radar Network (JORN).
You will be part of a high-performing team responsible for ensuring logistics compliance, governance, and assurance across complex sustainment activities.
Your work will directly contribute to the operational readiness and long-term viability of JORN by managing logistics processes, financial transactions, and stakeholder engagement.This role operates within a dynamic and technically complex environment, requiring a proactive and detail-oriented approach to managing through-life support activities.
You will work closely with internal teams and external contractors to deliver reliable, cost-effective, and compliant logistics support aligned with Defence objectives.Key responsibilities include:Lead and support logistics audits, stocktakes, and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to Defence standards.Develop, implement, and continuously improve logistics processes, procedures, and documentation.Provide expert advice on materiel logistics, support contracts, and procurement policy.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to resolve logistics issues and improve service delivery.Manage financial logistics tasks including purchase orders, invoice processing, goods receipting, and reconciliation.Operate within Defence finance and ILS systems to ensure accurate and timely transactions.About our TeamThe High Frequency Sensing Systems Program Office (HFSSPO) is an exciting environment to work in, offering rewarding opportunities in world leading capabilities and emerging technologies.
