Creatures of Leisure, a globally recognised surf hardware brand, is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Product Manager to own the end‐to‐end product lifecycle across our performance surf hardware range.
This is a hands-on, brand‐critical role suited to someone who thrives at the intersection of product innovation, commercial outcomes, and operational execution.
Overview
Reporting to the Brand Manager – Creatures of Leisure, you will manage products from concept through to delivery, owning seasonal line planning, product development, pricing, margins, supplier relationships, and supply chain coordination.
You'll play a key role in maintaining the quality, performance standards, and brand DNA that Creatures of Leisure is known for, while driving innovation and commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy, Line Planning & Innovation
* Develop and manage seasonal line plans, range architecture, SKU depth, and pricing tiers
* Translate market, consumer, and competitor insights into clear product briefs
* Balance performance, durability, and commercial outcomes
Product Development & Critical Path Ownership
* Own the seasonal development calendar and critical path
* Identify risks early and drive corrective actions
* Set pricing targets, manage landed costs, and deliver margins
* Manage supplier costings, tooling, and MOQs
* Partner with Brand, Sales, and Finance teams
Quality Control & Compliance
* Own product quality standards
* Manage QC checks, warranty, and fault processes
Supplier & Supply Chain Management
* Own supplier relationships and sourcing decisions
* Manage lead times, ETDs, and PO communication
* Travel to suppliers for development and QC
Stock & Operational Planning
* Partner on demand planning and stock modelling
* Balance MOQs, lead times, and inventory risk
Product Data & Sample Management
* Maintain accurate product data and costing records
* Manage development, sales, and marketing samples
About You
* Experience in product management or product development
* Experience working with overseas suppliers
* Strong commercial and analytical capability
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Clear communicator and problem solver
* Passion for surf, performance, or lifestyle products (preferred)

* Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel)
* NetSuite
* FileMaker
