The Role
Our Sydney office is made up of over 200 staff, including 25 Partners. We are seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Senior to join our Corporate Tax Division.
The role involves
* Prepare, review and finalise tax returns for companies, partnerships, trusts, and fringe benefit tax returns
* Prepare consolidated tax returns and assist with tax consolidation issues
* Oversee the preparation and review of electronic work paper files
* Review of tax provision calculations to support our assurance division clients
* Provide detailed written tax advice on a wide range of taxation issues, including but not limited to transfer pricing and other international tax issues, payroll tax, FBT, indirect taxes, corporate income tax, tax structuring
* Assist the team with technical training and mentoring of junior staff
To be successful you will have
* Experience in a similar role, ideally within a Big 4 or mid‐tier accounting firm
* Proven corporate tax experience with relevant technical knowledge
* Clear and articulate communication skills
* Demonstrated organisational skills, analytical skills and attention to detail
* CA qualified or currently studying (or other similar qualification i.e. MTax).
