Assistant Sales Manager (Full-Time)
Company: Aloft Hotels (part of Marriott International's Select Stays portfolio)
Location: 27 Rowe Avenue, Perth, Western Australia, ****.
Schedule: Full Time (remote work not available)
Position Summary: Aloft provides a stylish, vibrant space dedicated to forward-thinking hospitality.
As an Assistant Sales Manager – Weddings and Events you will help grow our weddings and events business, develop strategic sales plans, and deliver exceptional experiences for guests and partners.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and send quotes, follow up on enquiries, and convert wedding and event leads.
Coordinate and execute weddings, events and meetings using technology and clear operational thinking.
Generate and manage Banquet Event Orders, demonstrating strong organisational skills and thoughtful planning to anticipate guest needs.
Coordinate on-day wedding setups with the Banquet Operations team; flexibility to work weekends as required.
Implement targeted sales strategies to meet revenue goals and KPIs across weddings, social events, and the broader events portfolio.
Provide personalised site visits, building lasting relationships with clients to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Uphold all company policies and procedures and complete required managerial tasks promptly and thoroughly.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in event sales and planning (preferred).
Hotel industry experience is preferred but not essential.
Australian working rights.
Strong enthusiasm for accelerating your career.
Proficient in English (written and spoken).
Excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills, teamwork, customer service and the ability to manage diverse relationships.
Self-motivated, energetic and driven in a fast-paced environment.
Possesses smart solutions and a can-do attitude.
