We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure projects, you will be responsible for leading complex activities and tasks relating to ICT infrastructure projects.
The ideal candidate will have experience with ICT Infrastructure projects and possess excellent technical leadership skills. You will work closely with the project team, business partners, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality systems engineering services and products.
Key Responsibilities:
* System Engineering Documentation: Develop detailed documentation, system designs, maintenance plans, and configuration management plans to ensure seamless project delivery.
* Complex Problem-Solving: Analyse complex systems engineering issues across various capability elements and provide expert recommendations to address challenges.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to identify business needs, share knowledge, and provide architectural overviews, presentations, and advice.
* Process Development: Document system designs and implementation processes, and utilise project tracking tools to monitor progress.
* Issue Resolution: Resolve issues and problems that arise during capability development projects.
* Continuous Improvement: Assist in the continuous improvement process by developing and enhancing procedures.
Technical Skills:
* ICT Infrastructure Experience: Strong experience with ICT Infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
* ITOP 5: Provides technical leadership to optimise IT infrastructure performance, investigates and manages the adoption of tools, techniques, and processes for system and service management.
* DESN 5: Designs large or complex systems, conducts impact analysis on major design options and trade-offs, and ensures system design balances functional and non-functional requirements.
* HSIN 5: Takes responsibility for installation and/or decommissioning projects, provides effective team leadership, and develops quality plans and method statements.
* SINT 5: Plans and drives activities to develop organisational system integration and build capabilities, including automation and continuous integration.
* Strong Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: Responds positively and flexibly to change, nurtures internal and external relationships, and possesses strong written and verbal communication skills.
