About the Role
The Experience Lead plays a key role in delivering a high-quality visitor experience by providing clear, supportive leadership to staff and volunteers. Working closely with management, you will contribute to the smooth nightly operations of the attraction, responding confidently to operational challenges and providing calm, practical direction as situations arise.
You will support staff performance and capability through coaching, guidance, and constructive feedback, ensuring team members feel confident, prepared, and aligned with service, safety, and operational standards. This role requires the ability to problem solve in real time, adapt to changing conditions, and think on your feet while maintaining a positive experience for visitors, staff, and volunteers.
About you
You are ready to step into a leadership role and enjoy supporting and mentoring others in a fast-paced, operational environment. You bring a hands-on approach, remain adaptable under pressure, and are comfortable making decisions on the ground to support safe and engaging visitor experiences. You have an interest in wildlife and conservation, are comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Key Selection Criteria
* Demonstrated experience providing and leading customer service at a high level preferably within the tourism industry.
* Proven ability to effectively lead a diverse team.
* Knowledge of key aspects of tourism operations and the ability to effectively follow policy and procedures
* Ability to multi-task and prioritise in a fast-paced work environment.
* Exceptional communication skills
* Medium level of computer skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Confident in decision making.
