Are you a highly skilled and strategic Content Manager looking for an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact? Join our dynamic team to lead our content strategy across all channels and inspire our audiences to choose Curtin.
As Curtin’s Content Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining our brand voice and driving meaningful communications with our audiences. You will utilise audience research and your wealth of marketing experience to write content targeted towards student recruitment, corporate and research initiatives, ensuring Curtin University's brand and reputation are upheld. In this role, you will work closely with the Deputy Director Brand Marketing and wider University Marketing leadership team to ensure all activity delivered aligns to the objectives of the University Marketing strategy, and that work is effectively prioritised across your team.
Your responsibilities will include:
o Develop and implement Curtin’s Content Marketing Strategy, ensuring alignment with marketing KPIs and cohesiveness with other strategic marketing and communication programs.
o Deliver high quality, best practice writing, editing and content marketing for the University across a variety of owned and paid media channels, purposes and audiences.
o Lead your team to ensure effective talent management, recruitment, and performance standards are in place and guide your Team Leader to ensure effective workload prioritisation, coaching and career management of all team members.
o Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across the university and external agencies to ensure content projects are effectively delivered against approved briefs.
Who we are looking for:
o Completion of relevant qualifications and/or extensive experience working within a marketing-focused written content creation role (minimum of 5 years experience is required)
o Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering effective content marketing strategies for large brands or organisations, across a wide range of channels.
o Highly developed management skillset with the experience and ability to effectively lead a team of professional staff.
o Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across an organisation, developing strong relationships and networks.
