An established and reputable ACT builder-developer, renowned for its inclusive culture and supportive team environment, is seeking an experienced Foreman to join a landmark Canberra Development.
Your new roleReporting directly to the Site Manager, you will play a key role in driving on‐site delivery and maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and productivity. Your responsibilities will include:
* Supervising the delivery of all project phases, from structure through to finishing trades
* Managing subcontractors and leading toolbox talks
* Conducting site inspections to ensure compliance with quality benchmarks
* Assisting in the planning and execution of short‐term construction programs
* Engaging with key stakeholders, including the client and project partners
* Upholding a safe workplace in alignment with WHS standards
What you'll need to succeed
* A trade background, ideally supported by strong technical knowledge
* Demonstrated experience on commercial projects, including structural and finishing packages
* Strong problem-solving skills and confidence interpreting detailed drawings
* Excellent communication abilities and the leadership skills to get the best out of your team
* A positive, proactive approach and genuine pride in delivering high-quality outcomes
