About The Role: This organisation is looking for an experienced APS5 Procurement Officer to join a high-volume ICT commercial team supporting contractor and labour hire procurement activities. The role is critical within a fast-paced environment, managing end-to-end procurement processes and contract administration for a large ICT workforce.

Indicative Salary: $92,753.00 – $99,113.00 Per annum + Super

Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end procurement activities for ICT labour hire and contractor workforce
* Prepare, draft, and review procurement documentation including RFQs, tenders, contracts, and approvals
* Ensure compliance with procurement frameworks, legislation, and internal policies (e.g. CPRs, PGPA Act)
* Support contract lifecycle management including onboarding, extensions, variations, and offboarding
* Conduct value-for-money analysis and commercial assessment of suppliers
* Maintain and update contractor and procurement records in systems such as SAP and PeopleSoft
* Process monthly receipting, clearance requests, and procurement reporting requirements
* Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support procurement outcomesAssist in procurement planning and business case review to determine appropriate sourcing strategies
* Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement and vendor management processes
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience in procurement, contract administration, or commercial support roles
* Understanding of government procurement frameworks and compliance requirements (CPRs, PGPA Act preferred)
* Experience working with ICT procurement or contractor workforce environments (highly desirable)
* Strong capability in drafting procurement documentation and managing approvals
* Experience using enterprise systems such as SAP, PeopleSoft, or similar ERP platforms
* High attention to detail with ability to manage large volumes of transactional work
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
* Ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Sound judgement with the ability to make decisions within policy and procedural frameworks
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems (EDRMS or equivalent)
