Experienced Clinical Director - Women's and Children's Department of Health (DoH) across the North West Tasmanian Region. The successful applicant will provide high-level strategic leadership and direction, ensuring resources are efficiently utilized, services are effectively integrated within the hospital/service, and the highest standards of service delivery are achieved in accordance with hospital/service policy directions, service standards, and financial targets, in addition to providing direct clinical care. This role requires a skilled, motivated medical professional who views challenges as opportunities and is driven by a passion to improve healthcare in the complex world of modern health systems. Suitable candidates include Obstetricians and Gynaecologists with solid generalist O&G skills, or Paediatricians with exposure to rural and community paediatrics, which is advantageous. This is a fixed-term, full-time position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, primarily during the day (with on-call duties), commencing as soon as possible for a three-year period.
