Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Lead Carpenter located in Dubbo, NSW. The Lead Carpenter will be responsible for overseeing and executing carpentry projects, including activities such as framing, finish carpentry, and ensuring proper use of hand tools and power tools. The role involves managing daily tasks, maintaining adherence to safety standards, coordinating with team members, and ensuring the timely completion of assigned construction or restoration projects.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Carpentry, Framing, and Finish Carpentry techniques
Skillful use of Hand Tools and Power Tools for various construction tasks
Experience in project supervision with strong attention to safety protocols
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Current trade qualifications or certifications in carpentry or related fields
Previous experience in lead carpenter work is advantageous
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Own a reasonable inventory of tools to complete day-to-day carpentry work. Plant ans Equipmenr is provided.
