About the role VMCH Disability Services Cre8 Shed provides high-quality services aimed at supporting individuals to remain independent in the community.
We require an enthusiastic and creative Handyperson to join the team in the Cre8 Shed.
You will assist and encourage people living with a disability to learn skills and have fun
You may be required to work in other programs depending on needs.
About You
Previous experience in a trade or handyperson role would be advantageous.
You require a knowledge and ability to use tools and power tools and assist other to learn.
You will enjoy working in a creative environment.
Experience working with in the Disability Sector highly regarded but not essential.
Skills and Experience Experienced handyperson
Outstanding communication skill, ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.
Experience working with people with a disability.
Certificate III Individual Support or Cert IV Disability – highly desirable
NDIS Worker Screening Check and Workers Induction module certificate.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
Current valid full Driver's Licence,
