 
        
        Family Support Specialist
The Family Support Specialist plays a vital role in providing personalized support to families, enhancing their overall well-being and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Providing regular home visits to assess family needs and develop tailored support plans.
 * Assisting carers with daily tasks, appointments, and accessing community services and activities.
 * Collaborating with case workers to identify and address areas of concern, ensuring the best possible outcomes for families.
 * Maintaining accurate records and reporting progress to the service Case Manager.
Requirements:
 * Relevant qualifications and/or experience in human services or a related field.
 * Strong knowledge of Aboriginal culture and values, as well as an awareness of current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people, and their families.
 * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other agencies and the community.
 * A valid driver's license, satisfactory criminal history check, and employee working with children check are also required.
