About your new role
As a Procurement Specialist, you will provide end-to-end procurement services across maintenance, repairs and operations (MRO), supporting commercial performance, governance, and value-for-money outcomes.
This role partners closely with internal stakeholders to deliver sourcing projects, manage contracts, and improve procurement processes, with a particular focus on operational and maintenance categories.
Key tasks for this role include:
Leading procurement projects and sourcing activities across MRO and operational categories
Managing the full source-to-contract lifecycle, including market engagement, evaluation and negotiation
Partnering with business units to deliver commercial advice and ensure governance compliance
Supporting contract management, supplier performance reviews, and panel management
Contributing to continuous improvement of procurement processes and tools
About You
We're looking for someone with:
5+ years' experience in procurement, ideally with a strong MRO / operational background
Demonstrated experience leading sourcing projects and managing contracts end-to-end
Strong knowledge of category management, strategic sourcing and supplier management
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience with SAP Ariba or similar systems desirable
Government experience not required, commercial / industry background highly regarded
Qualifications for the role include:
Relevant degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience
Professional procurement qualification (e.g. CIPS) is desirable
