About The Role
There is an opportunity for a fixed term Nurse Unit Manager role in our Orthopaedic ward. We are a 37 bed acute surgical ward, caring for post operative Orthopaedic patients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the ward to achieve financial KPIs, labour, and efficiency targets.
* Ensure excellence in patient care and a safe working environment.
* Oversee incident reporting and implementation of corrective actions.
* Uphold Calvary and Government Health policies, Code of Conduct, and industrial agreements.
What You Bring:
* AHPRA Registration and recent acute care/hospital experience.
* Strong leadership, organisational, and management skills.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
