2 x Live Music Venue Operators
Role Overview
As a Production Technician, you'll be responsible for the seamless operation of lighting, audio, and visual systems across our venues. You'll work closely with artists, DJs, and performers to deliver professional, dynamic, and reliable production experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and program lighting systems (MA3 consoles essential).
- Provide basic audio support, including DJ booth setup and troubleshooting.
- Operate nightclub production elements including lighting, lasers, and visual playback.
- Operate additional software such as Resolume, Beyond Laser Control, and Enttec Pixel Mapper (training provided if needed) for Nightclubs.
- Mix live bands and support stage setups alongside lighting operation for Live Music Venues.
- Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively in fast-paced environments.
- Maintain equipment standards and assist with setup/pack-down.
What We're Looking For
- Experience with MA3 consoles is essential.
- Minimum 6-12 months experience with MA3 consoles is required.
- Nightclubs: Working knowledge of lighting programs, basic audio, and DJ equipment.
- Live Music Venues: Proven experience mixing live bands in addition to MA3 skills. For Live Music Venue positions, minimum 6-12 months experience mixing live bands is required.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility to work Thursday through Sunday evenings, when the majority of shifts occur.
- Team-oriented, proactive, and professional under pressure.
- Australian work rights are required for this position.
