Job Summary:
We are looking for a Quality Audit and Claims Specialist to play a vital role in supporting Omnia's commitment to safe, high-quality, and accountable service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Process claims in accordance with Omnia Inclusive procedures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies; process adjustments where required.
• Conduct billing, collection, and reporting activities within specified deadlines.
• Identify and report opportunities to maximise revenue.
• Utilise the Buddy Note system to document activities, claims, and quality-related matters.
• Liaise with funding bodies and member body officers regarding compliance requirements, guidelines, and funding enquiries.
• Provide oversight of wage subsidy payments and ensure they are processed within required timeframes. Conduct regular audit schedules and targeted spot audits of employees and managers to ensure contractual, compliance, and quality standards are met.
• Carry out service standards audits aligned with the 2025 Specialist Disability Employment Program ensure certification requirements.
• Facilitate annual audits for Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) teams to support recertification and assess performance target achievement.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with clear findings, risks, and actionable recommendations for performance enhancement and process improvement.
• Execute post-audit tasks and support the implementation of recommendations to reduce organisational risk in alignment with the risk framework.
• Contribute to the ongoing review and alignment of operational practices with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and governance best practice.
• Support the development of a culture focused on compliance, quality assurance, risk management, and business continuity.
• Contribute to management reports regarding quality assurance, discrepancies, and performance insights.
• Provide recommendations that enhance operational consistency, service quality, and compliance.
• Collaborate with team leaders, employees, and managers to drive organisational excellence and adherence to standards.
About You
• Strong understanding of relevant legislation, standards, and compliance requirements.
• Proven analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships across teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ability to learn new digital systems.
• Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Qualifications in business administration, risk, safety, or quality management is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in the not-for-profit or community services sector is highly regarded.
• Current Working With Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening, and driver's licence.
