Job Title: Postdoctoral Research Fellow or Research Fellow
We are seeking a researcher to play a key role in an ambitious industry project, within our established research program.
* The position will involve shaping, developing, and evaluating a cutting-edge AI platform that enhances clinical decision-making.
This research will be conducted as part of a long-term partnership with a major global industry collaborator, offering the opportunity to conduct research with direct real-world impact.
You will join a cross-disciplinary group of highly experienced and internationally recognised researchers at the Centre for Health Informatics (CH), part of the Australian Institute of Health Innovation (AIHI).
About You:
* Applicants will have expertise in core AI principles and modern ML methods, applying these to some of the most challenging real-world problems surrounding Generative AI in healthcare.
* We require academic rigour and top-quality outputs, with strong analytical skills, proven problem-solving ability, and confidence to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
* A passion for applied AI research and experience in translating modern AI into real-world applications delivering transformative results is essential.
* An excellent communicator, enthusiastic collaborative researcher, and someone who thrives working in a fast-paced environment is required.
