About The Role
Temporary full time role for 12 months
Deliver supervised clinical healthcare to patients of North West Hospital and Health Service across diverse settings including local hospitals (and multipurpose health services), family general practice, and primary health clinics.
Under the supervision of the Senior Medical Officers/Rural Generalists, provide clinical care to patients, across emergency, inpatient, aged care and outpatient settings.
Requirements
* Current trainee status with ACRRM or RACGP as a rural generalist registrar is highly regarded, though acceptance onto training or intention to apply for training and commitment to work towards Fellowship is accepted.
* The incumbent must have obtained a degree qualification from a recognized tertiary institution and hold Current registration or eligibility for registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia.
* C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
* Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
* This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
* A period of probation may apply.
