Overview
This is no ordinary HR role. This is a rare opportunity to step into a standalone regional Senior HR Advisory position with genuine regional accountability, global exposure and the ability to influence at a strategic level. As part of a highly regarded ANZ HR Team, you will support a predominantly Western Sydney client group with broader regional sites across NSW, while partnering with leaders across broader NSW operations.
Responsibilities
* Partner with operational and functional leaders across NSW to deliver strategic and operational HR advice aligned to business objectives
* Coach and influence leaders to uplift capability, driving improved performance, engagement and leadership effectiveness
* Lead and embed change management initiatives, ensuring successful adoption across geographically dispersed teams
* Travel to sites across NSW as required, building strong on‐the‐ground relationships and providing hands‐on support to leaders and teams
* Provide end‐to‐end management of complex ER/IR matters, including investigations, disciplinary processes and terminations, ensuring compliance and consistency
* Interpret Awards, legislation and policies, delivering clear, commercially sound guidance
* Drive employee engagement, retention and experience initiatives, aligned to organisational priorities
* Support workforce planning, talent management and succession planning, building sustainable capability pipelines
* Facilitate leadership workshops, training and capability programs, strengthening people management practices
* Leverage HR data, insights and reporting to identify trends, risks and opportunities
* Partner with the ANZ HR team on projects and continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to broader regional outcomes
* Act as a visible employee champion and culture driver, supporting engagement, DE&I and organisational change programs

* A broad HR generalist skillset with experience across multiple HR disciplines, including interpreting, navigating and providing advice on Enterprise Agreements and industrial relations matters

* Comfortable operating flexibly and autonomously at times
* Well organised, with an attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities
* Computer literate, with skills in Microsoft Office products and ideally HR systems
* Willing and able to travel fortnightly between Sydney sites (Smithfield, Rydalmere & Weatherill Park) and for periodic travel to regional sites, including Newcastle and Muswellbrook
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline
* Demonstrated experience in a Senior HR Advisory or standalone HR role
* Strong capability in leadership coaching and capability development
* Proven experience managing complex ER/IR matters and workplace investigations
* Solid understanding of Fair Work legislation, Awards and compliance requirements
* Experience supporting multi‐site, operational workforces
* Ability to translate HR strategy into practical, business‐aligned outcomes
