Roamer Brisbane is looking for an experiencedBar Duty Manager to help lead our hybrid bar/café operation in the heart of Brisbane. This is a hands‐on role suited to someone confident running service across both coffee and bar environments, with a strong focus on customer experience, team leadership, and operational standards.
What you'll be doing
* Overseeing daily bar and café operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service
* Leading shifts and supporting a small team across front and back of house
* Preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverages to a consistent standard
* Bartending across busy service periods, including evenings and events
* Managing stock, ordering, and back‐of‐house organisation
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, workflow, and food safety
* Working closely with the kitchen and understanding commercial kitchen operations
* Using POS and hospitality systems to manage service and reporting
* Creating a positive, energetic environment for both guests and staff
What we're looking for
* Proven experience in abar duty manager or supervisor role
* Strongbarista skills with the ability to maintain coffee quality under pressure
* Solidbartending experience in a fast‐paced environment
* Experience working in or alongside acommercial kitchen
* High standards inback‐of‐house organisation and cleanliness
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem‐solving skills
* Excellent, friendly and welcoming customer service
* Proficiency in systems such asLightspeed, Loaded, Bopple is advantageous
* CurrentRSA certification
* RMLV (Responsible Management of Licensed Venues) highly regarded
* Availability across bothmorning and evening shifts, including weekends
