The Opportunity
The AH-64E Apache is the world's most advanced and proven attack helicopter. It integrates creative technologies to aid the crew in decision making, offering a new level of battlefield dominance through enhanced performance, increased situational awareness, superior survivability, and improved target detection, acquisition and engagement.
We are seeking an experienced Configuration Management Specialist to support the AH-64E Apache helicopter program. The role is based in Enoggera, Brisbane with the Army customer in an integrated Attack Helicopter System Program Office (AHSPO).
Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain the program's product definition and design data, technical baselines, engineering changes and approved configuration.
* Coordinate Configuration Control Boards and ensure engineering change is managed in a controlled manner.
* Prepare and participate in product technical design reviews and audits as required.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of configuration and data management plans, processes, systems and tools.
* Maintain controls necessary for data to meet security, trade control and intellectual property requirements.
* Effectively interface with project team members and customers to support the operation of the platform.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience in Configuration Management.
* Formal Configuration Management training / certification.
* Knowledge and understanding of industry configuration management standards.
* Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities with attention to detail.
* Working knowledge of a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or Configuration Status Accounting Tool.
