Avionics Group is a leading provider of integrated airfield lighting and airport electrical infrastructure across Australasia. We specialise in the installation and maintenance of critical airport lighting systems supporting major aviation projects.
Due to continued project growth, we are currently seeking Construction Labourers to join our team working on projects at Townsville Airport.
This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an experienced construction team delivering high-profile airfield infrastructure works in a unique airport environment. Townsville-based applicants or those located in the local region are strongly encouraged to apply.
The Role
As a Labourer, you will support our electricians and civil crews in the installation of specialised airport lighting systems and associated infrastructure.
Key duties include:
* Assisting with installation of airfield lighting systems
* Trenching, conduit installation and cable handling
* Assisting with installation of apron floodlighting and associated infrastructure
* Site preparation, material handling and equipment setup
* Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
* Supporting the project team to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently
* Following strict airport safety and compliance procedures

What We're Looking For
* Experience in construction or civil site work
* White Card (essential)
* Driver's licence and reliable transport
* Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing
* Clean criminal record (security clearance required for airport site access)
* Strong work ethic and positive attitude
* Ability to follow instructions and work safely on site
* Townsville-based applicants or candidates located in the surrounding region preferred
