A Governance Officer will be partnering with business units to ensure good governance within a local government organisation based in Regional VIC.
This role will encompass delivering agenda papers and minutes for Council and Committees, as well as maintaining an up-to-date policy and procedure framework.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver key governance functions by compiling and distributing agenda papers and minutes for Council and Committees according to required timelines.
2. Maintain the policy and procedure framework by providing advice and support to organisational units in reviewing and developing policies, procedures, and related documents.
Requirements:
* Degree or diploma course in governance, policy development, quality assurance, law, or a related field with relevant experience preferably in the local government sector.
Education:
Bachelor Degree in a Relevant Field
