We have an exciting new opportunity for a
**Civil Supervisor / Inspector **in the growing
**Gympie Region** with an Engineering Consultancy who are focused on providing quality service and outcomes for their customers.

**right person** with a collaborative and supportive team environment to provide a stable, secure, ongoing and challenging workload in a range of Civil Infrastructure projects in Gympie, the surrounding region and sometimes further afield.
The
**ideal person** will have a proven ability to achieve outcomes, deliver on promises, whilst priding themselves on developing and maintaining strong relationships.
**You would be responsible for**:
- Inspecting, recording and reporting on Quality Standards of Road Construction Contractors for Gov't Infrastructure Projects.
- A record of managing your workload priorities around deadlines
- Embracing and fostering a culture of excellent value, service and mutually beneficial professional relationships with all stakeholders.
- Demonstrate a commitment to current HSE standards.
- Some travel at times throughout the region.
**As a guide, you would need**:
- At least 5 years of Civil Roads Infrastructure Construction industry experience and a good understanding of local Queensland industry standards.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Experience working on Local Gympie / Wide Bay/Burnett / Sunshine Coast region Gov't and DTMR Projects a huge advantage.
- An existing resident of / (or the desire to permanently live) within daily driving distance of Gympie.
**Minimum Mandatory Requirements**:
- Open unrestricted driver's licence
The normal hours are nominally 40 per week, Monday to Friday.

**currently residing in Australia** who have
**local Queensland experience** and exposure to working on government projects, their policies, procedures and standards as a 'specific technical requirement' of the role.
