AO5 Project Engagement Officer

A Queensland Government infrastructure program is seeking an
AO5 Project Engagement Officer
to provide additional support to a busy customer and stakeholder engagement team within a regional delivery environment.
The role will support multiple concurrent projects and requires strong stakeholder engagement, communications, and coordination skills to ensure timely, consistent, and high-quality communication across a diverse stakeholder group.
Key Responsibilities
* Support stakeholder engagement activities across a range of projects and initiatives.
* Assist in the development and delivery of engagement and communication plans.
* Prepare clear, accurate, and consistent communication materials and project updates.
* Liaise with community members, local stakeholders, and partner organisations.
* Ensure stakeholder enquiries are managed effectively and in a timely manner.
* Provide operational support to the engagement team to assist with workload management.
About You
* Experience in stakeholder engagement, communications, or a related role, preferably within a government or infrastructure environment.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and consistency.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a high-volume environment.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholder groups.
