About The Role
We are seeking 2 committed and collaborative casual Teachers to join the Work Education team at our Broadmeadows campus. This role is critical in delivering courses in CIALN, Transition Education and Work Education to adult learners with intellectual and neurodiverse needs. The successful candidates will play a key role in building students' literacy, numeracy and independent living skills, and/or skills required for employment.
You will become part of a friendly and supportive team of teachers, where collaboration through regular meetings and flexibility are highly valued.
We Are Excited About You Because You Have
* Previous experience in teaching students with intellectual disability (must have)
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
* A Special Education qualification (desirable)
* Experience teaching in adult education, special education, or TAFE settings
* The ability to deliver and adapt lessons to suit diverse learning needs
* Strong understanding of working with adults with intellectual disabilities, including common challenges and strengths
* Flexibility and creativity in teaching approaches
