We are currently seeking a motivated and friendly Retail Assistant to join our team, working approximately 40 hours per week. Availability on weekends is essential.
Position Summary:
The Retail Assistant is the face of our store, responsible for creating a positive shopping experience for every customer. This role requires a strong work ethic, a friendly attitude, and a genuine interest in wholefoods and sustainable products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Process sales transactions accurately using our POS system.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked store.
• Assist with receiving and merchandising new stock.
• Provide customers with information about our products, including their origin, ingredients, and health benefits.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with patience and professionalism.
• Support the overall team to ensure smooth store operations.
• Be knowledgeable about our range of organic and health food products.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Previous retail or customer service experience is highly desirable.
• A strong interest in wholefoods, organic products, and a healthy lifestyle.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting boxes and standing for extended periods.
