About the Role
We're looking for an Accounts Payable & Payroll (PAYG) champion to join the RAW Civil team and support the financial operations of a growing civil construction business.
This role is about running the day-to-day effectively while helping improve and strengthen how we operate. It's a fast-paced environment, suited to someone who is accountable, detail-driven, and comfortable in a construction environment.
You will report directly to the Company Director and Commercial Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the accounts payable inbox and workflow
* End-to-end processing of supplier and subcontractor invoices
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
* Respond to supplier and subcontractor queries professionally
* Credit card reconciliations
* Process weekly and ad-hoc supplier payments
* Payroll processing (PAYG), including timesheets and allowances
* Support general bookkeeping and finance administration
* Maintain accurate records across MYOB and Varicon
* Identify and drive improvements in systems and processes
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in Accounts Payable within construction or civil
* Payroll / PAYG experience preferred
* Ability to handle high-volume processing accurately
* High attention to detail and accountability
* Ability to work autonomously and take ownership
* Varicon experience highly regarded (training provided)
