The Company A well-recognised brand – one you definitely know and trust – is seeking a Corporate Accountant to join its high-performing finance team based in Perth’s southern suburbs. Operating in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment, this role offers exposure to a complex business with strong operational linkages and a focus on continuous improvement. The Role Reporting to a Senior Financial Accountant, the Corporate Accountant will play a critical role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining balance sheet integrity and supporting statutory compliance across the business. The role is hands-on and operational, working closely with Finance, Operations and Management to ensure financial data aligns with business performance. Key Responsibilities Assist with month-end close, including preparation of journals, accruals and prepayments Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving variances Support preparation of monthly profit and loss statements and management reports Assist with inventory accounting, including reconciliations, stock movements and costing reviews Collect and analyse data for weekly and monthly estimates and forecasts Assist with statutory reporting obligations including GST, FBT, payroll tax and other compliance requirements Support year-end financial statements and audit processes, including liaison with external auditors Assist with cash flow reporting and working capital analysis Support ERP month-end, quarter-end and year-end processes Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls and reporting efficiency Provide financial support and analysis to internal stakeholders, particularly Operations and Production teams Provide backup and support to other members of the Finance team as required About You You will bring a strong technical accounting foundation and a practical, detail-oriented approach, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced FMCG environment. Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline Part-qualified or fully qualified CA / CPA (or actively working towards) 3–6 years’ experience in financial or corporate accounting roles Sound understanding of month-end processes and financial accounting principles Experience working with ERP systems and strong Excel skills Exposure to manufacturing or FMCG environments (highly regarded) Inventory accounting and costing experience (desirable) Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and ability to meet deadlines Clear communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with non-finance stakeholders What’s On Offer This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, well-established FMCG organisation with a strong brand presence and a collaborative finance culture.
