The role
We are looking for a Senior Account Manager - Sales with deep expertise in Data, AI, and Generative AI solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role blends consultative selling with strong technical depth to drive adoption of up-to-date data platforms, AI/ML, and GenAI solutions. You will work closely with enterprise customers to define strategies, architect solutions, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the full sales cycle for Data, AI, and GenAI opportunities on AWS
- Engage with CXOs, business leaders, and technical stakeholders to identify use cases and transformation opportunities
- Design and position solutions leveraging AWS services (e.g., data lakes, ML platforms, GenAI services)
- Lead technical discovery workshops, architecture discussions, and solution presentations
- Collaborate with delivery, engineering, and partner teams to build scalable and cost‐effective solutions
- Drive Proof of Concepts (POCs), pilots, and MVPs for AI/GenAI use cases
- Translate complex AI/ML and GenAI capabilities into business value and ROI
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with AWS and ecosystem partners
- Respond to RFPs/RFIs and create compelling technical proposals
- Mentor pre‐sales and solution engineering teams
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8–15+ years of experience in technical sales, pre‐sales, or solutions consulting
- Proven success selling Data, AI/ML, or cloud‐based solutions
- Strong hands‐on understanding of Data and AI services
- Experience with GenAI concepts (LLMs, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases)
- Strong ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders
Preferred Skills
- Experience with modern data architectures (lakehouse, data mesh)
- Familiarity with GenAI frameworks and tools (e.g., LangChain, vector DBs)
- Understanding of MLOps, data governance, and responsible AI
- Experience in industries such as BFSI, retail, healthcare, or telecom
- Consultative selling and storytelling
- Deep technical credibility in AI/GenAI and cloud
