Job Description:

* A permanent full-time position based at Sale, delivering intake support to vulnerable families.

Your new role involves working in a multidisciplinary integrated agency team to deliver quality responses to children, young people and families experiencing family violence.

As an intake practitioner you will:

* Deliver intake support via phone, site visits and outreach engagements
* Manage a caseload of referrals and provide risk assessments
* Develop service plans and coordinate referrals to external services
* Work collaboratively with the agency team to provide coordinated responses

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent as per minimum qualification requirements for specialist family violence practitioners
* Experience in child, youth and families welfare with well-developed risk assessment and management skills
* Understanding of MARAM Framework, Best Interests Principles and Children, Youth and Families Act 2005
* Valid driver's license
