Job Description:
The Assistant Director – Pay and Conditions role is a key position within our organization. This leadership role oversees the Pay and Conditions team, ensuring seamless payroll administration and external reporting. Additionally, it involves coordinating SAP HR related upgrades and managing system maintenance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the Pay and Conditions team to deliver high-quality payroll advice to clients.
* Payroll administration functions may include processing of pay, running of pay, pay cycle checks, leave provisions, reporting, and SAP functions and technical support.
* Management of the Pay and Conditions team may include day-to-day management, checking or dealing with more complex queries, and strategic management of the team.
* Extract, analyze, process, and present data for business use.
* Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports (internal and external) according to business needs.
* Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the payroll function.
* Provide expert advice and assistance in relation to the SAP system and pay and conditions function, solving problems associated with client service delivery while meeting required timeframes.
* Build and/or maintain networks and stakeholder relationships to support service delivery, compliance, best practice, and business improvement activities.
* Manage projects and major system changes.
* Contribute expert input and develop policies, processes, and procedures within the strategic people framework.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A well-aligned working history with direct APS experience.
* Demonstrated SAP HR expertise in payroll and organizational structure management.
* High-level organizational and administration skills, including time management, problem-solving, and prioritizing work to achieve set targets.
