Remuneration: $36.39 - $51.09 Per Hour + Super + Salary Packaging
Employment Type: Temporary Part Time until Feb 2027

Belmont Hospital’s Operating Suite is a busy and rewarding environment, comprising of four operating theatres that run Monday to Friday. Shifts are staggered between 0700 and 1930, giving you both variety and the balance to enjoy life outside of work.

About The Role

As a Registered Nurse in Anaesthetics or PACU, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate perioperative care. This is a role for nurses who enjoy being hands-on, thinking quickly, and making a tangible difference in patients’ lives during critical moments.

You’ll be supported by a skilled multidisciplinary team across a range of surgical specialties, working in an environment that values both your professional growth and your wellbeing.

About You

You’re a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse ready to step into the fast-paced world of perioperative nursing. With the completion of a Transition New Graduate Program or equivalent in an acute care setting, you bring a solid foundation of skills and a commitment to continuous growth.

- Demonstrate a strong commitment to a career in perioperative nursing with excellent communication an advocacy skills, and a strong work ethic.
- Be a team player, highly organised with strong attention to detail, while being flexible and adaptable to meet dynamic service requirements.
- Take initiative and responsibility for own professional development and be comfortable with constructive feedback.
- Possess emotional intelligence and a growth mindset.

Requirements

- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Completion of a 12 month New Graduate Program, or equivalent experience, in an acute care hospital.
- Commitment to infection control, safety, and quality patient care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Availability to work Monday to Friday is required
