Locum Hospital Speech Pathologist – Katherine, NT, AU
Duration: 2nd March – 30th March 2024, with optional extension.
Location: Katherine, Northern Territory, Australia.
Role: Sole Speech Pathology position within a team of 17 clinicians, covering inpatient rehabilitation, palliative care, medical and surgical wards, paediatric, maternity and emergency departments.
* Provide speech pathology services to inpatients and outpatients, including dysphagia management, cognitive communication support, and assessment of communication and decision‐making capacity for patients with a range of acquired and chronic conditions.
* Work independently with confidence in clinical decision making.
* Prior hospital experience required; experience as a locum is preferred.
* Hold a valid driving licence.
Compensation: Locum rates up to $75 per hour, super inclusive. Flights reimbursed up to $1,200. Free accommodation provided.
