Currumbin Clinic is a 104-bed private mental health hospital located on the Southern Gold Coast, delivering high quality care and positive patient outcomes. We have a team of dedicated Psychiatrists, Medical, Nursing, Allied and Administrative staff who provide expert care in the management and treatment of all acute mental health disorders. About the Role: Reporting to the Hospital Services Manager the successful applicant will have a working knowledge of the principles of safety within a health care environment and be able to multi skill between the Environmental Services & Catering Departments. The role is a casual position, and we are seeking someone with a flexible approach to an ever-changing environment. Cleaner - Essential Criteria: General cleaning knowledge. Work both independently and within a team structure. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and privacy. Available to work weekends/evenings. Desirable Criteria: Certificate III in hospitality. Hold or obtain a Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate. High Standard of customer service and team approach. Experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential. Ability to work with minimal supervisions and to prioritise work effectively. Catering Assistant - Essential Criteria: Proven ability in a similar position. Work both independently and within a team structure. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and privacy. Available to work weekends/evenings. Sound knowledge of customer service. The ability to follow instruction from chef. The ability to work in a team. The ability to stand for extended periods of time. Effective communication skills. Desirable Criteria: Certificate in Safe Food Handling. Experience working as a Catering Assistant. High Standard of customer service and team approach. Experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential. Ability to work with minimal supervisions and to prioritise work effectively. Requirements: To ensure the quality and safety for our patients, staff and visitors, applicants will be required to provide before commencement a National Police Check. It is also mandatory by Queensland Health that all employees in the Private Health sector are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and Influenza.
