Global Mobility Tax Professional

You will be working with our Global Employer Services (GES) team that helps multinational corporations navigate multifaceted tax laws and labour regulations. Combining tax research and data analytics, we provide advice on global compensation, visas and work permits, employment taxes, and policy design for international assignments.
We are looking to bring on an ambitious university undergraduate to join our team. This role is suitable for students studying Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Human Resources, who are available to work part-time (ideally 30 hours a week across 4 days).
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Monitoring client mailboxes, drafting email responses to queries, and requesting tax data from clients.
2. Liaising with Deloitte overseas offices regarding mutual clients.
3. Monitoring client KPIs and providing status reports.
4. Preparing invoices for clients.
5. Preparing personal tax returns and payroll calculations.
6. Updating tax software and online portals with client information.
7. Liaising with the Australian Taxation Office for requests such as remission of general interest charges for individuals and variation of PAYG instalments.
To succeed in this role, you should have strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills, analytical and numerical skills, organizational skills, and the ability to handle large volumes of work.
