Role and Program
The Program: The Psychosocial Recovery Service (PRS) provides non-clinical psychosocial support services to assist people experiencing severe mental health challenges, with the aim of reducing psychosocial functional impairment and supporting families and carers.
The Opportunity: Under the direction of the Team Leader, the Recovery Worker will complete initial intake and assessment, and develop and execute action plans to help individuals achieve their recovery goals. The role includes conducting group-based activities to build capacity and life skills, providing individual, person-centred, recovery and trauma-informed supports, and engaging participants and their families with peer support and education programs. 
You will assist with accessing primary health services as appropriate, to help individuals and families participate fully in the community and achieve wellbeing.
Position Details: Permanent part-time (equivalent to 5 days a fortnight) opportunity in Mildura. Salary: $40.62 p/h (SCHADS Level 3.3B) + Superannuation + Salary Packaging + 17.5% Annual Leave Loading.

What You Need 
- Relevant qualifications or commensurate experience in a support role for people with mental health issues (generally Certificate IV or above)
- Current valid Driver’s License and ability to travel
- Appropriate IT skills
- Right to Work in Australia
- Satisfactory National Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
